Vito of K&L Gates will provide an overview of the regulatory approval process for pharmaceutical and biologic products, describe how patent prosecution and litigation impact the success or failure of a biotech company, and discuss strategies to help minimize and manage litigation risks. Although Part II of the webcast will primarily focus on U.S. legal issues, the speakers will also touch on certain aspects of European and other foreign laws that can affect a biotech company's prospects for success.
